This is strange. But here is an idea. Maybe your home network installation
puts entries in your hosts file. When DXbase is installed, we make a backup
copy of your host file and then install our version. Try renaming the hosts
file that we install to something else such as dxbhosts and then rename the
backup version in the same folder to hosts.

Other that this, don't really have a clue.

Regards,
Courtney

Subject: [Dxbase] Network and DXB2005 Problem

I've been fighting a problem since updating to DXB2005. After loading it and
making the normal setup changes, I noticed that I was
unable to connect to my home network. I have a DSL router box and I have 4
computers connected to it that I network together.
I put the restore feature to work and restored my computer to a date late in
May and poof, I can connect to my home network no problem.
But..... DXB2005 now doesn't connect to my favorite Internet Cluster.......
So after some fiddling, I reload DXB2005 and bang, I now get
internet spots, but then to my dismay, no can connect to the Home
Network....... So back to restore, I get my Home Network
back but guess what, DXB2005 can't find my cluster again.... so it's back to
DX4WIN......... Any ideas as to why or how DXB2005 is messing
up my home network? (or visa-versa)

Thanks in advance.... Larry W0FLY
