I have a Yaesu Mark V and a Kenwood TS-870 as my backup. I want to wire the Kenwood to another COM port on the computer so I can control it through DXBase. It appears that pins 2, 3 and 5 are the only ones needed. What I need to know is are pins 2 and 3 straight wired or are they swaped?

Just wiring three leads will not work.
