Dave,

With regards to FULL Callsigns like VP8BKF and VP8BF --
simply ADD those callsigns to the CALL MAP table .. this
is the reason why the CALL MAP table is there - so that you can
MAP a FULL Callsign to a "different" PFX and zone(s).

You can select the proper information in the CALL MAP
table - when you add those two callsigns.. The CALL MAP
table is the first one looked at when trying to determine
the entity/zone(s) -- once the FULL call is inserted/added
-- and you type-in the FULL callsign(s) in your logbook -
they will be populated correctly.

Subject: [Dxbase] Date error DXB 2005
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

I am using DXB 2005 with W2k pro. I have noticed on several occasions that the
date entered into the log is wrong. I have the PC clock set for local time. For
example a QSO made on 2/13 at 0300z will be logged as 2/12 at 0300z (2/12 2200z
local)Restarting DXB will clear up this error and QSOs will be logged at the
correct date and time. Has anyone else experienced this? If so is there a fix?

Thanks in advance.

Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

I was going through the log just looking back around late 80's-late 90's (very
few contacts during that time so it was all within about 3 lines of each other.
Anyway, I worked a BY 4RB in the late 80's (which I can't seem to get a card
for, unfortunately) and noticed later that the Summary window showed that
station in the call and a "W" for 20 mtrs. I was wondering when I work it so I
clicked on the "W", which shows any contacts to that country on that band, and
got nothing. So then I clicked on the binoculors, which should show all
contacts to that country, and still got nothing. Seems odd.

Anybody seen that before? Do I need to re-initlize the database? Have not
closed it down other than normally lately.

Yes, I have seen this a number of times. After a while it will work again.
I have not figured out the sequence to get working again.
While it is not working I will click on the binoculars and enter the
prefix for the country and search that way but it gives so
many contacts that this is a hard way to find a QSO.
