Don't you just love these people, like K8FC, that sets up an auto answer for his email? We had a lady at work who set one of these up to reply to all, not just the sender. Since I was going to be out of the office for at least 8 months I set up an auto answer to the sender. We had a somebody send out an email to a group of people, the lady and myself were on that list. Her autoanswer, which was set to reply to all, sent my mailbox an email, so my auto answer replied back to her, and so on. This went on for about 24 hrs. I looked and figured that we were sending out FOUR emails a minute. I think this ends up being close to 24,000 messages. The only way they got it stopped is I just happen to visit the office the next day and logged into my account and turn off the auto answer. Then I had them blow my account away and create a new one.
I hope K8FC doesn't run into something like that he could have "fun", plus the really good part is he will auto answer to spam, which will confirm his email address, so that should start growing too. Could be interesting for him. When I tried to sign the ADIF file TQSL Cert fussed that it didn't know about mode 'Digital'. I noticed that DXB-2005 now has two fields pertaining to mode (mode and sub-mode) and the QSO was logged as Digital and sub-mode was PSK31. How do I get it to generate the correct ADIF file for LOTW? Thanks Tim-KU4J
