Tim, When you open up the TQSL (Lotw) program -- you go to Main Menu -- File -- Preferences -- and in the ADIF Modes TAB --- that is where you will detail the specific MODES that LoTW will accept all ok ...
For instance - in my own ADIF Modes Tab :: FELDHELL -> HELL PSKHELL -> HELL LSB -> SSB USB -> SSB Those are the "Mapped" modes so that LoTW at arrl will be happy.. 73 Joe wa6axe Tim Pearson wrote: > I just tried to create an adif for upload to LOTW using DXBASE 2005 (no > issues with DXB2004). > When I tried to sign the ADIF file TQSL Cert fussed that it didn't know > about mode 'Digital'. > > I noticed that DXB-2005 now has two fields pertaining to mode (mode and > sub-mode) and the QSO > was logged as Digital and sub-mode was PSK31. IF by chance - you have DIGITAL in the mODE column and you failed to fill-in the SubMode column with something - then the MODE field of the ADI file "will be" DIGITAL -- But that is still NO problem.. Just Map DIGITAL in the TQSL Program to what you really want it to be ... The very best thing with DIGITAL - is to always be sure and fill-in the Submode column too .. that way when the ADI file comes out -- it WILL LIST the Submode and not just the generic dIGITAL ... Hope that this helps.. So I went away with the thought in mind that any important email that I would have had to respond to was at the least explained away to the time I could return and answer the mail. Since I was out of the country and had no access to the internet it seemed reasonable at the time. BIG MISTAKE ! That will never happen again. But, with all the spam out there and the seemingly acute level of intolerance for mistakes, it seems like most of you rocket scientists would have figured out a filter or two such as Mail Washer Pro etc. where a simple check mark could have eliminated the aggravating mail such as my auto answer provided for you. In any event, it won't happen again. Also, let us hope that the rest of you learn by this experience and don't make the same mistake in the future. /joe k8fc ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bob Main" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "DXBase" <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, February 13, 2005 8:45 AM Subject: [Dxbase] Autoanswer
