As a Cluster sysop I would have to promptly ban anyone doing that! 1/ It would increase severalfold the amount of cluster traffic generated per user, on an Internet cluster we could probably just about handle that for a few users but on an RF cluster this would bring the system to it's knees in short order. 2/ Mostly lookups are done via qrz.com who allow cluster sysops to configure their systems to do lookups, qrz.com however offer a commercial lookup facility and are unlikely to be that happy about the cluster system being used to get around their premium service see http://online.qrz.com/ It would however be nice to see DXB plug into this interface Other lookups are done from locally held (to the cluster) databases but in many cases the terms of usage for these database would not be compatible with automated logbook lookups by cluster users. 73 Brendan EI6IZ
