Ron,

I traded in my ICOM 756 Pro for a Pro III. Getting DXbase to work with it
was easy. I set DXbase to the Pro II and changed the address in the radio
to match the Pro II.

DX base worked right away. I also set N1MM logger to the Pro II setting
and it worked fine. I used it last weekend during the DX contest.

Subject: [Dxbase] Possibility of upgrading database DXBase 2000 (v 1.04) to
        2005 (importing)
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Hi all,
My apologies if this topic has already been dealt with in the past, I did try
to "find" in the reflector archives on serveral months with no result.

Being retired since the beginning of this year I am trying to pick up all the
loose ends, which also means bringing the logging program on a reasonable
updated level. As the version I have is DXBase 2000 (v.1.04) I checked on the
DXBase website the import page to see if my old version database can be
imported. The list of previous DXBase versions seems to start however with
version 3.x. Does this mean that the "old" database cannot be imported, or am I
wrong? I am aware from my professional background that one database can be
"massaged" into another version manually, but I would rather spend my "new
found" time on the key than on the keyboard ;-) Anybody knowledgable?

Thanks, CU on the waves,

Mike
