Jack

I did as you suggested and all is working well again. I had to copy the IP
Host file back into WINDOWS. As always, thanks for the assistance.

Subject: [Dxbase] selecting which card to be checked
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

When I send in cards and submit LoTW qsls, I use this approach to make sure the
card(s) I
want are printed onto the forms.

When I receive a LoTW qsl that is a needed band/mode, I put the following code
into the
Special1 field L05-2
Which translates to Lotw 2005 2nd submission of the year.
I do a similar encode for hardcard qsls and place into the Special1 field C05-2
The C indicates it's a card.

In the Awards module you have the option to select only qsls to be submitted
that have and
entry in the Specia1 field.

So I enter C05-2 and it makes out the form printing just the hardcard qsls I
wish to
submit.
Do it again after entering L05-2 and I now have a printout of just the LoTW
submissions.

Seems like double work but actually it save time in ease of checking everything
in after
you get the qsl's back.

And of course if you wish, you can always print the LoTW submission listing of
the qsl's
from the screen.

As it seems, that they process a LoTW part of the Hybrid submission first and
then the
hardcard portion, you will not have a situation where a LoTW qsl is rejected as
being a
duplicate of country/band/mode with a hardcard you also submitted in case you
missed the
duplicate when you were preparing the forms.
(I did this recently not noticing that a qsl on LoTW and a card where for the
same
country/band/mode. The accepted the LoTW and rejected the hardcard as a
duplicate).

I do not mark qsl's as 'CREDITED' until I receive the paperwork back for the
DXCC desk.

I don't know if this process will work for VUCC or eventually IOTA.
But it sure helps me from confusing myself even more than I am now.
