George, Since the Label Designer (version) is the SAME for both 2005 and 2006 -- you simply do a COPY/PASTE of the Custom Label files:
*.lbl *.lbv *.lbp and for your Custom QSL card files: *.crd *.crv *.crp NOTE: In the above examples the * is to be replaced with of course your own filename for each file you want to copy/paste into 2006... NOTE #2: BE SURE and modify the TIME field in each of your own custom files (if you want only the 4 digit TIME to show-up). You CAN leave each of your CUSTOM files over in 2005!!! 73 Joe wa6axe George Harlem W1EBI wrote: > I cannot seem to find a topic in the Help file for migrating my custom label > files over to 2006 from the Labels folder in 2005. That is one way to get the error message you mentioned. Another way is NOT entering a station call in the Call Entry box. In set-up with my Idiom interface, I select the 'Character' and 'Use Leading Zeros in Degrees' option. I also set 'Bump' to 10 degrees, I forget what the reason was other then I made a entry in my station notes to do so. Let us know how you make out with your problem. 73, Eric The only problem I have ever enc -----Original Message----- From: JNMazzoni Subject: [Dxbase] Rotor Interface Problem / Hy Gain DCU-1 Continued Still having problems .... cannot control the Hy Gain DCU 1 from Dxbase. 1. I have checked the Activate ROTOR 1 in the Rotor 1 tab 2. I have entered my QTH +44.89 Lat / +93.11Lon in USER opt/ General tab 3. I continue to get an error message as follows The beam heading cannot be found. Make sure the beam heading is present in the summary window. If using arrow buttons make sure DX base has already set the current beam heading. I was advised that ; First make sure that you have it 'enabled' in the correct rotor 1 page3 on the User Options. Second, the first time you use DXB, you must tell it where the antenna is. I do not understand the second instruction. Do I type in an arbitrary Log & Lat ? Can someone give more specific detail on this set up. It seem like it should be simple but I haven't had any luck.
