Jim,

The county field is working as designed on that version. In our latest
release, DXbase 2006, we modified this behavior so that only those counties
for the listed US State are displayed.

The scrolling is designed for the entire column level and not for scrolling
within each column. Therefore, what you see is correct based on the design.
You can position your cursor over the column an the contents of that column
will be automatically expanded.

You can visit our web for more info about the latest release of DXbase.

Regards,
Jack

Subject: Questions re DXBase 2005

Just started using DXBase 2005 a few weeks ago. I notice two things that
don’t look right:

- when I’ve filled in a QSO record with a state and then go to the
County field, it doesn’t pull down to the counties in the individual state
(it presents the entire list of all counties in the US)

- My Internet Cluster window has a horizontal scroll bar at the
bottom of the window but will not scroll to the right

I can’t find any info in the help file for the above (the word “county”
isn’t in the index…

Any thoughts?

PS Copied the support address, since I got a “undeliverable” error on the To
address last time???

Thanks,

Jim W3DCT
