Still no go. I changed the User Options/Internet IP Host box to 127.0.0.1 localhost ypoxkjlg node, verified that VE7CC ARU configuration is set to Telnet on both Port Setup and Logging Program Connection. Not sure about setting the login info. All are left at default values or blank. When I try to connect via Window/New Internet I get the error message "could not connect to the site!". When I click on OK, another error message, "Packet Comm Mgr initialization failed. Check user options, hardware options, or internet connection...". Connection is via a DSL modem and appears to be running ok. I've rebooted both DXB and VE7CC ARU without success. I must still be missing some other option. Gary AL9A
