No. AOS would indicate the time you 'acquired' or began to hear him....
and with my puny signal, .... I usually don't work him till AFTER the other 
callers.
And that could be hours later! :-((


and I frequently have Loss Of Signal before I do work him.

I second this!.....  and the Field names should be "TimeOn" and
"TimeOff" instead of "Time" and "ENDTIME" (Why the Capitals its not an
abbreviation like IOTA or QTH etc)?.

The ENDTIME (TimeOff), could be configurable in the "Options" menu, so
that it is inserted when the QSO is FIRST saved and then editable
thereafter, this would be very easy to implement.
At present, I use an excellent Macro program called "Macro Scheduler"
which inserts the endtime and saved the QSO by using a shortcut
keystroke. In fact I have several Macros just for DXBase.

I could think of several improvements to DXBase, most of them
cosmetic, but I may get accused of "nit picking".
