Hi Talley, For sure each device requires its own port.
Not sure if your computer is a desktop or notebook, but if your computer will take an additional serial port card that will work too. I have been using a dual Lava serial PCI card with no problems for both Rotor and Rig control. I do have a MicroHam Keyer interface on order to handle a second rig set up and future 'Ham' shack changes I will be making. For sure it looks like the MicroHam products are a great way to go and well worth looking into. I am looking forward to getting mine. 73 Eric. Which runs off USB and creates 'virtual' com ports and also will run rtty and psk off one device. A little pricey but a great system especially for new computers without com ports. If your machine does not have enough com ports, another alternative is a pci comport card. I purchased a 2 port SIIG card for very little off eBay and it works perfectly and you can assign any com port number to the new ports. Good Luck. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Talley George" Subject: [Dxbase] HF Radio & Rotor Interface >I am interesting in using the HF Radio Interface and Rotor Interface >features of DXbase 2004.
