My process for generating labels consists of first printing them on
plain paper, then reviewing them for errors and making the changes. I
always find lots of changes, things like bureau / qsl manager / qsl
service always need study.

After making the corrections on the plain paper, then I have to change
them in the log and generate a replacement label.

It's the generation of that replacement label that is driving me to the
edge of insanity! When I attempt to save that corrected label
DXBase2006 tells me that saving this label will generate a duplicate
index or some such cryptic complaint! I realize that I am going to
replace a 'bad' label by a repaired label! Right now I have to first go
to the data base access i.e. tools/data base access/labels and find the
bad label, then delete it, close the window, then return to the log and
save the corrected label. This is usually accompanied by many foul
words and a lot of wasted time!

How about just warning us that we are going to overwrite the 'bad' label
and then do it!!! Ideally make the warning optional...I really don't
need it!

Thanks
