Serious contesters need something lean and mean that can be operated with minimal keystrokes. While DxBase does have a basic contest mode that does track dupes and serial nbrs etc contesters always prefer a separate dedicated program.
As for the log conversion - piece of cake taking less than 5 minutes to compile the CABRILO format for the contest, ADIF for both your eQSL upload and to import into Dxbase. I use Writelog for my contesting software but many still use CT which is now Freeware.
