I most strongly disagree with you on this.
A contest program is a totally different type of animal.
Even the contest program authors have a difficult time keeping up with the 
contests, rule 
changes, equipment changes etc. etc.

And they have volunteers writing Contest Modules, Friend, Country, and DTA 
files to 
reflect the monthly changes.
And then you must consider that contesters would want SO2R, with Stack Match 
controls.

There is a reason such a critter doesn't already exist.... no Ham Software 
author has 
lived long enough yet to have been able to complete it.
