I am running DXBase 2003 on a Windows XP machine (1.5 GHz Athlon) and I notice that everytime that DXBase reads a spot from the telnet connection it hangs the program momentarily (hour glass appears). Is there some way to fix this (a RAM cache perhaps)? It normally not too bad, but when the telnet gets busy (like in a DX contest), it can really slow the program to a crawl.
Thanks, Mike W4EF...................................
