Oystein, So very true - absolutely... If you have never entered anything into those other tables - that info will be gone .. That is why I asked the users who wanted the "STATES group coordinates" to be placed into their Refdata.mdb file - to send me THEIR Refdata.mdb file -- and I manually updated "just" those coordinates for approx 1,000 Alias Map entries.. That way, "their Refdata.mdb" stayed intact...
But, for those users who were still running the "original" DXbase2006 Refdata.mdb file - and had never entered anything themselves - I posted my Refdata for them to use... FOR SURE - be careful when over-writing the file with mine.. PSE make sure of your choice. Tnx Oystein for the observations!! 73 Joe wa6axe ?ystein Stokkeland wrote: > If you simply copy that new REFDATA over the the installed file, you will > loose all changes to the Call Mapping to Prefix CALLMAP, Manager Addresses > MGR-ADR and Manager Mapping MGR-MAP. > Also changes to the EVENT table, Favorite Frequency FAVFREQ is being lost. > > So be careful. > > > 73 de > > ?ystein Stokkeland LA7QI > Tel: +47 51 67 70 97 / +47 971 56 090 > email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > *****Representant i Norge for DXbase logging program***** > > > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On > Behalf Of Joseph Glockner > Sent: 19. mars 2006 03:32 > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Cc: DXBase Reflector > Subject: Re: [Dxbase] DXbase2006 updated Refdata mdb file > > Keith, > > After re-reading your email - let me send a few more detailed words..
