To all DXbase2006 users:
I need to few TESTERS to checkout the new report - which will
actually be "exported" as a *.lst file.
**** Important **** The TESTERS will NEED to have "either":
(1) A registered version of DXAtlas
or
(2) A Trial version of DXAtlas that is still in the trial period
or
(3) A Trial version of DXAtlas that has expired and you have not
registered your program.
The NEW Report will be accessed within DXbase2006 - under
Output / Standard Reports ...
Once you select the options that I have given in the report,
you will be creating a report that will THEN be "Export" from
the Report by using the EXPORT Icon in the report window.
So that I can give as much flexibility for you all - I have
2 OPTIONS available in the report:
(1) Included Deleted Entities?
No - "defaulted value"
Yes
(2) Not-worked/Worked/Cfmd Status
All Categories - "defaulted value"
Only worked and worked/cfmd
Only worked/cfmd
Only worked not cfmd
Only not worked
The above 2 options should be able to minimize the amount of
"colored pins" that you will see on your DXAtlas Map.
Once I hear back from TESTERS who will be able to test the report
by the day-after-tmrw at the latest - I will send the TESTERS
the normal ZIP file with the rpt file and the words needed to
be copied/pasted into their 2006 Rptdesc.ini file -- plus some
words about how to handle the running of the report - ouputting
of the *.lst file - etc etc ...
If the person is thinking that this will be a "one step"
process - then this report is not for you.. the report WILL give
the user the info/map with pins, etc that you want -- but, there
are steps that will have to be done to get to the finished
product.

I have posted an example/sample screen capture of my
logbook to my website at..
http://www.navycthistory.com/wa6axe/sample.gif
The photo shows :
On the 335 current DXCC entities
and
Confirmed + Worked + Needed
The photo is the FULL world map, so the detail of each
is not that good -- once you ZOOM-IN with the DX Atlas
program - the detail of each entity is much better.
Just wanted to let you see what the output would
look like..
The Beta testers have done a superb job. And, I am
using their inputs and upgrading the report.
More later on. This new report will only be usable with
DXbase 2006 + DX Atlas.
73 to all!
