Before the people at the DXCC desk throw a rock at me....I've found quite a few
of my own
errors this way. Marking the wrong qso as credited, which skewed my band
totals. Actually
messing up the callsign as compared to the card. So don't take this as a
complaint.

With the aid of using LoTW's Awards module, you can now see all the callsigns,
date, band,
mode for each entity that you have both DXCC and Challenge credit for.
(I haven't gotten to checking WAS as yet).

I am finding some data entry errors on the part of the DXCC typists.
Usually minor things like transposing month/day
an occasional 10 meters/10 megs type thing.
Even a few were Callsigns were misread.
Not the Entity... but like W9OL would be entered W9LO.

So far, I've not found anything like a mode error, but I've got about 2K worth
of entries
to check yet.

I did find out that prior to 1998, the year of the qso was entered but not the
date. Then
the newer software filled in the missing month/day with a default 01/01. This
is of no
consequence really.

The whole point of this is....when you get cards back, it's a lot easier to
just check
those against the files in LoTW than to wait till you see a problem and have to
wade
through hundreds..
