As you know, it's difficult to copy/paste log line entries. But I've found these two tricks. I frequently send 'heard/worked' info to one of the newsletters, so I wish to send this info without typos.
First for log entries. If you start with the first field/ in a line, hold down the CTRL key and select each field sequentially, including the FIRST totally empty field, you can then do a CTRL C and transfer this info into a email or other text editor by right click/Paste or CTRL V. The empty field can't be a field that contains a drop down menu. So far I haven't found a way to Copy from the Previous QSO window. But ... I did find a workaround. Select the qsos whose info you wish to copy and mark them for qsl with a distinct qsl Group designation. The 'user designed labels' window DOES allow you to copy the entire contents of selected lines. Now if your wondering why I would want to do this; I recently received a number of LoTW qsls for a DX station I needed, but two of the qsos I made were not included. I sent the manager an email with my EXACT qso info in hopes the two were miscopied callsigns. (These two qsos were in extreme heavy qrm due to people continuing to call even when the DX station came back to someone). I didn't want to risk making a typing error in the email which would only cause more difficulty in checking these qsos. ----------------------------------------------------- Jesus is coming, look busy ----------------------------------------------------- Bill H. in Chicagoland webcams at http://24.14.49.4:8080 weather at http://hhweather.webhop.org
