That is called the Previous QSO Toolbar and Transmit Bar Both can be turned on/off by toggling the appropriate line in the View Menu.
If, if, indeed you had DXBase set up identically on two computers, you could just copy the DXBase2007.ini from one to the other. But ONLY if they were identical enough that you could live with making adjustments. I have grandkids....but then I'm more dangerous around a computer than they are. So....I backup my DXBase2007.ini automagically every night to a SD chip and other computer/directories. Remember....it's not IF....it's WHEN Your never too rich Your never too trim and you never have enough backups! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bill Parry" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, September 08, 2006 9:02 AM Subject: [Dxbase] Transmit window My three year old grandson is staying with us this morning because he is sick. I had been working on some QSLs this morning and he got into my radio room and apparently did some stuff to DXBase. I have DXBase on two computers so the files are fine but he apparently deleted a window. I keep this window at the bottom of the screen and it doesn't have a name on the banner of this particular window. It is the window that you use to type in commands to the packet cluster and has tabs for VHF Packet, Internet packet, CW line out and CW character out. In my old manual it is called the Transmit window. When I looked under the Windows menu it is not listed like the other windows. The manual says that you should go to the Windows tab and click "new", all the "new windows" are all grayed out. How do I get this Window back? (Oh, I am still using version 2005.)
