Jim, you are absolutely right. And, what really upsets me is I looked at that export feature when I did the form and never bothered to expand the output form combo box. I saw the comma delimited choice that comes up as a default and mentally discarded it as not something I was interested in.
Anyway, I had since tried other reports so I really wiped out the information from that original report. I will not do that again you can be assured of that. (meaning I will not tell it to mark the records as "submitted" until I am absolutely 100% positive that all the data is right) also thanks to you I can now see there is a path back if you accidentally go brain dead at the last min...
