Hi folks Sound advice jack as you say many people don't do it not only for ham radio but for corporate use as well , I have seen at my works qth ( a very large hospital) were a hard drive crashed & all data of out patients to one dept was lost apart from back up that was on paper records the whole lot had to be retyped back in, they now have a external hard drive bit late after some poor soul spent ages putting it all back .
Happy days Terry G0LUQ From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Feb 10 18:09:14 2007 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (KB_2000) Date: Sat Feb 10 18:12:47 2007 Subject: [Dxbase] Saving CD Label References: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Jack In DXB 07, when I save a label (the little blue label symbol/button), I get the usual message and then a different call comes up. For instance, I click in YW0DX that I just worked (and hit F10 to save the QSO), it says YW0DX will be saved, so I hit ok, and then another pop-up opens saying G4FNL info will be saved, which I have never worked, but happens to be the last callout in the internet cluster window. This has been happening alot. I haven't yet printed the labels, so not sure what it is really saving. Also, on the wish list, I really wish that 'esc' would stop the CW sending buffer. It takes way too long to move your hand to the mouse and find the stop button. The computer is only 6 months old. I have a backup of the whole hardfile on a USB hardfile that I made with Ghost. So getting the computer going again was easy.
