Well, I'm not sure about XP.  I have friends who run businesses who 
still operate Windows 2000 over XP.  One of them is an MIT graduate and 
he won't touch XP with his business.  I have XP PRO on a work computer 
and it is a pain in the ass.  Always something going on.  Windows 2K 
runs like a champ.  I think I'll stay off the wave until all these 
distress calls stop coming in on the reflector.
