I'll echo that here, too. My shack PC runs W2K Professional and in 3 
or 4 years, when I need to give the system an enema, it will get W2K 
re-loaded, provided they're still issuing security patches for it. 
Yeah, it's pretty long in the tooth and it still looks like Windows 
95, but it's never crashed ONCE on a machine that's usually up 24/7. 
The only change I'm going to make is to re-format the box that's 
acting as a server in my basement with W2K Server instead of XP Pro.
