For the DXbase users who use the GlobalQSL service, and, who
want to make an ADI file from their Labels Pending Database,
I have made a Standard Report variety of REPORT that you
OUTPUT as an ADI file - and upload that file to the
GlobalQSL service.

The REPORT has 3 Options - so that you can setup the Report
as you wish..

I know that probably not too many DXbase users will want/need
this report - but, I wanted to make it available to those
who did..

The ZIP file is located at:

http://www.navycthistory.com/wa6axe/specialADIexport.zip

and

The words that you need to add to your Rptdesc.ini file are:

specialadiexport2.rpt B Special ADI export for GlobalQSL.

HI all,

Just wanted to thank Joe publicly for this very useful report.

Now using globalQSL is as easy as printing locally and nearly as well
integrated.

My workflow is now as follows

mark the QSO's you want to QSL as labels as normal
run Joe's report
sent the saved report to GlobalQSL

print the labels as a preview in dxbase, this allows you to get DXbase
to set the QSL-sent date correctly, do this after the uploaded file has
been accepted.
Clear the labels (as you would following a successful print run)

Joe's report even ensures that the ADIF QSL_via is set correctly per the
ADIF version 2 standard as required by GlobalQSL to correctly route QSL
cards that have to go via a manager.

The fact that an external report written by a customer allows for near
perfect integration with the GlobalQSL service even though GlobalQSL did
not exist when DXB2007 was being written shows the true advantages and
power of Dxbase.

I can now use GlobalQSL for all my buero cards.
At $88 per thousand for full color 2 sides, printed and delivered to the
target QSL bueros this is a great service for anyone who does much
QSLing, especially for us Europeans with expensive postage and a weak US
$ compared to the Euro.
