I lost my computer network this past week and today I got DXBase up and running again. I had the .mdb files backed up on all three computers in my home network but that really doesn't help when they all get fried along with my FT1000MP and other stuff. A local technician was able to get the QSO file for me and so I am a happy trooper. The QSO file has 50,000 Qs and I would not have been able to reconstruct it.
I did lose the little program that reduces the size of the file (.mdb). It seems to me that someone had this little program, called "Access.." on their website and that you had to use an older version (not the latest one). Anyone know where I can get it? OH, a reminder, keep your files backed up. Bill, W5VX
