To all: Well, good news .. for my own situation here, the bottomline that GAVE me DXbase Internal CW Keying was to change from my O/S of Windows XP "Home Edition" to Windows XP "Pro" !!!
I found that the TWO driver files for the Serial Port were different (newer versions in XP PRO) ... The version of the TWO driver files, that can be found in your computer's C: drive / Windows / System32 / Drivers / that GAVE me the CW keying 100% perfectly are : serenum.sys 16KB System file 02/28/2006 12:00P.M. and serial.sys 64KB System file 02/28/2006 12:00P.M. MY two files named above - in the XP Home Edition were dated from 2004 .... so, the XP PRO O/S has the upgraded/newer driver files for the Serial Port... 73 Joe WA6AXE
