To all: If you are still not able to use the DXbase Internal CW Keying, I have also found that there are TWO more possibilites to try:
(1) If you have any program like DX-Telnet, Procomm Plus for Windows, etc ... you can execute that program and have that program ENABLE/OPEN the Serial Port -- then your DXbase CW Keying will work .. just be sure and leave the other program active (minimized) while you are using the DXbase CW Keying ... -- or -- (2) If you are NOT using the Serial Port to control your Radio, you can go into DXbase User Options / Radio 1 TAB .. and checkmark the "Connect HF Radio 1 Serial Interface" -- this will ENABLE/OPEN the Serial Port - and you will be able to use the DXbase Internal CW Keying .. The only thing that you "do not want to do", in this case, is to LOG a QSO via the DX Info window (right-click mouse -- Log Current Entry). You will HAVE TO log the QSO only from your keyboard.. 73 Joe WA6AXE
