Ilya,

Since you know that you have checked all of the
OPTIONS/SETTINGS that are for the Internal CW and also
for the Radio .. then, the next set would be to
"Reinstall" DXbase from scratch .. the one file that
can get corrupted and holds info about BOTH of those
items is the Dxb2006.ini file (in your case)..

Save all of your mdb file(s) and other files detailed
in the Help file - then,
do an "uninstall - completely" of the current DXbase
program - from the Control Panel "Remove Program".
Then make sure that you also delete the Dxb2006.ini
file in your WINDOWS directory..

Reinstall DXbase ... see what happens now - after setting
up all of the User Options/ CW Options from scratch.

If all is GOOD - then bring back the SAVED mdb file(s)
and others..

Still Good?

How do I tell DXBasePSK v.2.10 to use soundcards above Secondary (1) in my
computer. My computer has 4 sound card options and I wish to use physical
sound card #4 which is a microHAM sound device.

---------
For some reason the help file associated with the PSK software is not
complete (or something?). Another question for later if I can figure the
help file out.

Eric,

That program has ONLY 3 options for the SoundCard:

Use Any Available
Use Primary(0)
Use Secondary(1)

That's it!! So, if you wish to use your physical
soundcard #4 - I would look around for another
PSK31 program which gives you the access to call
for your SoundCard #4.

Thanks Joe,

I may have found a solution?

There is a programme called WinWarbler from the DXLAB Suite of free software
by Dave Bernstein that just may do the trick and it shows it has support to
log data to DXBase.

To late in the evening for me to download and try WinWarbler, but if anyone
has input as to this programme supporting the newer interfaces such as the
microHAM USB soundcard type products please let me know, PSK - RTTY - CW
etc..
