Joe, I think that that is way too much trouble. I don't think that I'll worry about it. I do not use DXBase to do any submissions to the ARRL, I do them separately. Thanks for the offer but I don't think that it is necessary. I need to get on and work the E4 it's one of the last 4 I need.

The ONE variation was just impossible to "program-around" -- so, I saw that it was going to be virtually impossible for me to continue with the project. I will, on a case-by-case basis, help anyone that truely wants to double-check their LoTW confirmations (DXbase logbook as compared to ARRL LoTW sebsite).. But, the report, which I have here (and strictly using Crystal Reports itself) at my QTH, is not going to be useful - since I can not program around all scenarios. If anyone wants me to check their logbook/lotw files - just email me ... the steps you will have to take are relatively easy. I USE the DXbase user's logbook (adi output of the whole logbook) -- and -- the user's LoTW account (the whole thing!) - in the form again of an ADI file ... The GLITCH that ARRL-LoTW server has between June and Nov 2007 "might" showup for you, but, the only time that that would be a problem is when you were to submit for DXCC or WAS and use the LoTW QSLs... Hope that this helps Bill. 73 Joe wa6axe Bill Parry wrote: > I wonder how you locate those Qsos if you have 8000 LOTW QSLs? > > Bill, W5VX > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > On Behalf Of Joseph Glockner > Sent: Friday, December 14, 2007 11:36 AM > To: DXBase Reflector > Subject: [Dxbase] ARRL LoTW website (June - Nov 2007) - just a heads-up > > To all, > > While I was working with Eric VE3GSI, trying to make the > report that would check the DXbase user's logbook mdb file > (LoTW confirmations) against the ARRL LoTW website LoTW > confirmations, we noted that Eric had some QSOs in his > logbook that reflected a LoTW QSL (confirmation) had been > received and logged - BUT, the download from the ARRL LoTW > website server DID NOT show the same QSO as being confirmed. > > Eric sent an email to the ARRL LoTW desk and here is the > response he rcvd back: > > > //quote// > > > Hello Eric, > > I checked a few of the calls that you make reference to. and > I believe I know what the problem is.
