Joe,

There is a FREE program that monitors your serial port ..

the program is at:

http://www.serial-port-monitor.com/free-serial-port-monitor-downloads.html
<http://www.serial-port-monitor.com/free-serial-port-monitor-downloads.html>

This program simply MONITORS the serial port that you have opened
with DXbase .. such as your rotor control ... I used this FREE
program when I was trying to setup my radio interface ...

The interface wil be able to TELL you what is being sent
via the serial port

I have an RT-21 controller here that functions as it should on another logger.
When using this unit with DXbase 2007 all seems to function OK on Long Path
move requests but
on Short Path move requests there is either no movement or there is a movement
but
to an incorrect azimuth. I have set the default settings in the rotor control
(number 1) window and activated the rotator control in the rotor options
window. Using another logger
that provides a rotor control debug window I see:
Example: Heading SP of 60 degrees. 'AP1060;<cr>AM1;<CR>' LP ______________________________________________________________
