I just got my K3 kit on Wednesday but on Thursday had my kitchen torn
apart for remodeling, so the kit will have to wait. Hurry up and wait.
I can't directly answer your question, but I think it uses the Kenwood
protocol. But why not try the Elecraft reflector?
