To All: After exchanging emails this evening with Jim, the final email from me simply gave the recommendation to "comment out" the GetSplit line of code in his Radios.ini file for the K3 or even K2 .. I sent him the K3 file that Brendan made for us.
The line of code that was "commented out" was: GetSplit= asc( "IF;" ) rrs(38) eoc(0) by simply placing a # in front of the line of code, the code is not executed .. so, his line of code for "his situation" would be: #GetSplit= asc( "IF;" ) rrs(38) eoc(0) Since the Kenwood TS-850 uses the same coding as the K3, I tested it here at my QTH and all was well for him.. Jim mentioned that he "NEVER interested in recording vfo_b freq..." -- so, the above method should work well for his own situation. Passing this along to the DXbase List as FYI ... 73 Joe wa6axe ________________________________ > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected] > Date: Wed, 7 Jan 2009 17:38:51 -0500 > Subject: [Dxbase] K3 interface > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I have a new K3 on line and operational (S/N 2295).
