Knut, I am sure Joe is correct in his explanation of the problem. I am sure glad he chimed in and explained it because I would Have had a hard time putting it into print. 73 de Tony, KD4K

I agree about logging from DXBase 2006. But here hare two issues: I think that the difference between Hamscope and DXBase numbers doesn't matter that much. I can live with that. The other thing is that Hamscope offers a Log it! button. That throws the callsign and frequency info over to DXbase and logs it there. And that is where we have the real problem (in my opinion). The frequency figures appear in a wrong format, compared to what DXBase can accept. I would like to push the button for instant logging into DXB, but have to edit the additional zeros and comma in DXB before logging... So the question is how to transform the frequecy format. Any idea? 73 de Knut ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tony" <[email protected]> To: "'Knut Meland'" <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, February 04, 2009 7:37 PM Subject: RE: [Dxbase] Logging from Hamscope ver 1.56 > > When using Hamscope and DXBase 2006, DO NOT use rig control in Hamscope, > Let DXBase do the rig control and then your logged frequency will be the > Same as your radio readout. > > 73 de Tony, KD4K > My Weather page > http://kd4k.com > My Ham Radio Page > http://kd4k.com/radio.html > Sawnee Mtn.
