I have had a similar problem. It takes a long time to exit dxbase 2007. If I get frustrated and hit exit a second time , I get the message not responding. I find that disconnecting from the dx cluster" bye command", before exiting speeds up the process and only hit exit once.I have a large database 61k qsos. I have compacted it and that does not improve the results. Art w1rzf

If I do reinstall, will I face any problems with the registration, and will I need to import my existing .mdb file with the utility? I'd hate to lose anything as there are some 40K+ q's, etc. there.
