Neal,

There are a number of minor issues I would like to see addressed when DxBase
is used with my microHAM SO2R+ interface.

First, there are times I only need DxBase to work on my QSL card responses
or the DxB data base(es) and have no need to 'fire-up' the rig. When I do
this with the microHAM interface powered off and/or mH router not running,
rig connection is turned off automatically by DxB. Needless to say it is
hassle to reconnect the rigs when I next go on the air.

Along the same train of thought there is no way to see if the Rig is
connected without entering a call on the log book entry line or going into
DxB set-up. It would be great to see the status of frequency/band or mode
reported directly from the rig.

Next, two-way CW speed control would be a nice addition. That is to say at
the moment I can use DXB to change CW speed but the pot on the mH keyer does
not echo back to DxBase.

I run the microHAM SO2R+ interface. It would be great if DxB would switch
rigs (TX Focus) when I choose Rig 1 or Rig 2. If you toss in headphone
routing and you will win the hearts of all us SO2R Ops.

The CW Transmit Window in DxB does not work properly. I suspect that it does
not work with any interface. For example if I use the TX window it only
echoes one character at a time. There is NO type-ahead buffer displayed.

Last, there is no doubt this is NOT a mH issue. Could you please look into
the marriage of MMTTY and MMVARI directly with DxBase. Yes I know of, and
use the 'Bridge Software' but unlike contest software DxB in this
configuration does not give an instant response to a call being entered and
looked up in the logbook.

Thanks in advance,
Eric - VE3GSI
