Under Tools/Options/CW Options/Winkey Options/

In the 'WPM Settings' box set the speed to 0 (zero). This allows the 
microKEYER speed pot to set the speed. Bill W9OL found this setting a 
long time ago I have been using it for years. As long as you do not 
use the DXB speed up/down buttons this will work. If you happen to hit 
one of the up/down buttons you will have to reset the speed to '0' in 
your WPM Settings.

My 'WPM Settings' are:
10 Min  
40 Max
0 Speed
255 Pot range
