I am wanting to generate an ADIF file from DXbase2007 for upload to GlobalQSL.com (http://www.globalqsl.com/). One method of doing this appears to be the "Selection Wizard", but this generates what I would call an "unabridged" .ADI file 27 fields per QSO. Here is an example:
<CALL:6>JR3EOI <QSO_DATE:8>20060128 <TIME_ON:6>144700 <RST_SENT:3>599 <RST_RCVD:3>599 <QSL_VIA:4>None <ITUZ:2>45 <OPERATOR:4>W4EF <PFX:3>JR3 <QSL_RCVD:1>Y <DXBQSL_RCVD:1>1 <BAND:4>160M <CQZ:2>25 <QTH:2>JA <SPEC2:8>Saltdale <MODE:2>CW <QSL_SENT:1>N <DXBQSL_SENT:1>0 <QSLRDATE:8>20100503 <COMMENT:27>Note: logged this as JR3EGI <DXBPFX:2>JA <DXCC:3>339 <DXBMGRN:1>1 <DXBAWD:1>0 <DXBSEL:1>0 <DXBVAL:1>3 <EOR> Clearly this is more information than is needed to generate a GlobalQSL card. Does anyone know if the GlobalQSL software ignores these extra fields, or does it attempt to print everything in the .ADIF file on the card? If the latter, is there a way to define which ADIF fields generated by the DXbase selection wizard? Thanks!
