Gary, interesting post. I am personally always amazed when someone discovers some new function after years of using DXbase. Wish I had a dollar for everytime I've seen that over the years... It's always interesting too when I see a post asking for this or that function almost to the point of chastizing the authors for not already having that function when in fact, the feature actually does exist. There are so many capabilities in DXbase and options to go with it that it would make your head swell... hihi.... but I suspect many users don't know what they have until they encounter a "DX moment" such as yourself. I always recommend that users take the time to read the help file. There is a ton of information in there which tries to point out the hundreds of nuances/options but most never do that and instead only look at it when they are trying to find out how to do something. Of course, then, like so many other software packages, it's difficult to find what you are searching for unless you sort of already know the answer... such a paradox.... So, for me, best strategy is to read it all and in doing so, you may be surprised to learn what's already contained in the software.
