ALL:

I have been asked to possibly try to make a program that could go thru
the russian calls (especially old ones - 1991-1994 timeframe) to try
and find qso prefixes that are incorrect in the logbook mdb files ..

BUT - here is my problem at the present time - and has stopped me
from proceeding with the making of the program:

(1) The cut-off DATE that we have in DXbase needs to be validated!

(2) The DATES that I can find around the Internet are VAST and VARIED!

(3) I would like to find a DXbase user who is an expert in the Russian
calls (1991-1994 timeframe primarily)...

Here is an EXAMPLE of the problem I am running into:

EXAMPLE being for the current Republic of Moldova with the current ER prefix:

(a) Republic Of Moldova admitted to UN on March 2, 1992

(b) Republic Of Moldova gains membership in the ITU on October 20, 1992

(c) AC6V website lists the "start date" for ER (Republic Of Moldova) as
January 1, 1992

(d) Clublog.org website has the "start date" for ER(Republic Of Moldova) as
January 1, 1993

(e) DXbase currently has the "start date" for ER(Republic Of Moldova) as
January 1, 1994

Talk about a WIDE variety of dates .. and, none of them cooincide ...

If anyone has some "definite" information that could help me make the current
ALIAS MAP
and CALLMAP more accurate than it is now (if needed!!) -- I sure would like to
exchange emails
with you!!

Tnx in advance !!
