Does anyone have experience in the following that could point me in the correct direction please? And does DXBase 2007 support the UDP protocol? When I follow the link below from HRD/DM780 it takes me to Neal’s web site. But I find nothing about DXBase SDK. I assume this link is from before Neal. I find no reference in the DXBase help files.
Tnx, Joe WL7E/W7 *DXbase* DXbase accepts new logbook entries from programs such as DM780. The information is documented in the DXbase SDK, http://www.dxbase.com/Dxbsdk.txt. · DXbase must be running for records to be passed correctly. DXbase adds the date and time automatically; it does not use values from DM780. *UDP Forwarding* Select this option to forward new logbook entries to 3rd party programs using the UDP protocol. This option is still experimental; only select it if the logbook program you are using supports this option. The record is sent using multibyte (non-UNICODE) text. The new logbook entry is sent in ADIF format, prefixed with ADD. An example of a record is: *ADD* <call:5>G6CNQ <qso_date:8:d>20070628 <time_on:6>180839 <band:3>20m <mode:5>PSK31 <rst_sent:4>599 <a_index:1>5 <comment:8>Fine guy <cont:2>EU <cqz:2>14 <dxcc:3>223 <freq:9>14.070000 <gridsquare:6>JO01go <ituz:2>27 <k_index:1>2 <my_country:10>Aaland Is. <name:11>Terry Genes <qth:17>Burnham On Crouch <rst_rcvd:4>599 <sfi:2>73 <time_off:6>180854 <app_hamradiodeluxe_country:7:s>England <EOR> In addition ADIF records are sent while the user is filling in fields in the *Add *pane of the *Add Logbook Entry *window. These records are used by contest logbooks such as N1MM. To see the messages as they are sent select the *Log file *window (from the *View *menu) and enable *Debug *(click the yellow Warning icon). ______________________________________________________________ Dxbase mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
