At one time, clicking on the QSY in DXbase for a spot, my Icom IC736 would
change to the listed frequency OK. The FT1000MP (rig 1) does it OK but with
DXbase 2007 the IC736 (rig 2) won’t. It will save everything to the log OK
except the split frequency – no real problem. I have replaced the CI-V cable
and tried the radios.ini file from DXbase 2005 and reinstalled DXbase2007 but
no go! I installed Ham Radio Deluxe (PC rig control program) and that works
fine. I can change the IC736 frequency from the PC OK, so guess that the rig
and CI-V cable are both OK. It would therefore appear to be a DXbase problem.
Any help or suggestions would be most welcome - it's driving me nuts!
