The one response I got to my question about changing the address of a DX cluster has half solved my problem. So I'll ask again.
I have changed the address of my local cluster in the Hosts file in Windows XP. However, when I attempt to do the same change in the DXbase program using the Modify Hosts File function, following the instructions in DXbase 2006, I get no change. Obviously I am doing something wrong but I'll be damned if I can figure out what it is. Each time I edit the line for "ve1dxi.no-ip.org" to "ve1dxi.no-ip.com" and save it following the instructions, it goes back to ".org" and I am unable to connect to the cluster.
