However, after this step (at least when I did it), going on to the third step caused a small problem. Namely the new one you created wasn’t fully registered yet for some reason. This, when went into the CALL MAP TAB and tried to map ST0S to ST0R, it didn’t give me that option. In the drop down box there was ST or old-deleted ST0, and no option for ST0R yet. I had to close the Prefix Databases window, initialize the tables and re-open it again. When I did, the ST0S entity was available to map the new call to. Be careful here or else you’ll be mapping your QSOs to the deleted South Sudan instead! Main Menu / Tools/ Database Access / Country Prefixes .../ Call Map TAB Scrolldown to the bottom of this window and type-in the following info: Callsign: ST0R Prefix: ST0S[pjd] I’m guessing the ITU will in fact assign a different block at some point, but for now, this is as easy a solution as any. Thanks (as always). ----------------------------------------------------Regards,Peter Dougherty, W2IRT __._,_.___ Reply to sender | Reply to group | Reply via web post | Start a New Topic Messages in this topic (2) Recent Activity: Visit Your Group Switch to: Text-Only, Daily Digest • Unsubscribe • Terms of Use . __,_._,___ ______________________________________________________________ Dxbase mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
