I am amazed at Neal's handling of DXbase so far. Not that he has not released a
new version yet, but because he hasn't thrown in the towel on the
whole thing yet.

I have migrated several databases from Dease to Acces to Visual Basic and with
those I had written the original database. I can say that it is no
small task and the
depth and interaction of forms and fields that Jack has put into
DXbase, I dare say
that it will take at minimum, a Herculean effort and most probably a
miracle to pull
off at all. This is the kind of project that most people would not
even consider taking
on. I am sure that Jack even warned Neal of this before the sale.

If and when Neal releases a new version of DXbase, I will
still be hanging around,
as the version of DXbase I am running now (2007) is doing everything
that I need of a
logging program. Also with Joe's great support, we have nothing to
fear. When that new
version is put out, I think I will let all you soldiers work all of
the bugs out for at least
6 months before I upgrade.

Thank's for a great effort Neal and I wish you the best of
success. I will be sure
to upgrade DXbase and support your efforts in any way I can.

                                         Jim N8JV
