Thanks to all who commented and made suggestions. I had never seen that "I" before and now know what it is. As for the matter of ZL1AMO, I found Ron in the list of "Assign Callsign Alerts" which I have never had occasion to use. There was also a W8 in there (don't now recall who because I deleted him and Ron) and the problem has disappeared. Guess I need to explore this program a little more -- 17 years using it (maybe more) and I don't know everything yet!!!!! Another mystery solved by the DXbase crew, headed by WA6AXE. The OPTIONS .. ALERTS Tab .. Assign Callsign Alert Button ... Once you place a callsign in that (top nine calls) -- then if it is spotted there will be a ICON that will be the "letter" I with a small black background .... I had ZL1AMO in my Callsign Alerts and just TEST spotted the callsign ... sure enough -- there was the I (with the black background) .... So, you need to watch what is in your Assign Callsign Alerts window .... 73 Joe wa6axe > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected] > Date: Mon, 5 Sep 2011 20:29:56 -0300 > Subject: [Dxbase] DXbase 2006 question > > I noticed tonight two things I'd not seen before. > > 1.
