I've tried the suggested method and below is the QRZ.com page that opens.

QRZ.com does provide instructions that, "http://www.qrz.com/db/(your_callsign)" 
 should be used to access a direct lookup.   
Perhaps someone knows how this can be implemented in DXBase.
