Tom,

If you have DXBase installed you should already have multiple ini files for the IC-7600. They are located in your install directory in a file called Radios.ini. There are currently four different ini files for the IC-7600 with slightly different names that denote how the radio interacts with DXBase with a particular ini file.

[ICOM_IC-7600]
This is the basic original IC-7600 ini file created by N5IN.

[ICOM_IC-7600_DW_ok_SPLT_ok]
This is an enhanced ini file created by Joe WA6AXE and N5IN that enables both Dual Watch and Split to work with DXBase.

[ICOM_IC-7600_SPLITOK]
Another variation of the IC-7600 ini file by WA6AXE that allows the Split frequency to be recorded in the Notes field of DXBase. This is the one I use as my normal ini file.

[ICOM_IC-7600_VFO_A_Only]
The final variation of IC-7600 ini files by N5IN. Not sure of the purpose of this version, but apparently it only uses VFO A information for logging purposes.

All of these ini files should be available to you for selection in Tools/Options/User Options... under the Radio1 and Radio2 tabs. Select ICOM in the Manufacturer box and then in the model box is a list of various Icom radio ini files. The four files referenced above are in that listing. Select which ever one you like and see how it performs. It's been a long time since these came out I don't remember the exact differences between them, so some experimentation may be required depending upon what you are trying to get. Maybe Joe can refresh our memories of what the subtle differences are between these ini files.
